Parkour is an outdoor sport, and we aim to carry on in bad weather unless it is so bad that it makes it dangerous. If that's the case, you'll be notified by email or text that this weeks' class has been cancelled or postponed.

WHAT DO I NEED TO WEAR?

Loose clothing that you don’t mind getting a bit scuffed.

AM I FIT ENOUGH?

Yes, we teach all ability levels and everyone is welcome.

However, you will get the most out of a group session or class if you can keep moving for 45 minutes.

If you’re looking to increase your activity level from a lower start point, we can also tailor 121 sessions that are challenging for your personal fitness level and will focus on developing your physical literacy.

WHAT EQUIPMENT DO I NEED?

Running shoes and a bottle of water.

HOW COORDINATED DO I NEED TO BE?

You do not need high levels of coordination and it will improve week on week with our Parkour training.

Many of our students train precisely because they wish to improve their coordination.

WHAT AGE CAN MY CHILD START PARKOUR?

We take students from the age of four, but it's never too early to start your child's education in physical literacy.

AM I TOO OLD FOR PARKOUR?

Absolutely not. Our oldest student to-date was 74.

HOW DANGEROUS IS PARKOUR? WILL I HURT MYSELF?

The most common injury in Parkour are blisters, not fractures as you might think.

However Parkour is not ‘soft play’. It is an extreme sport and comes with risks of injury.

It requires a great deal of focus and concentration to ensure the participants judgment is aligned with their physical capacity.

However, while it’s accepted that injury can occur from Parkour training, regular practice will develop your ability to land and fall safely and without injury.

HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE TO LEARN?

From your very first lesson you will come away with improvements in physical ability and confidence in your judgement.

And if you put the time in with us your skills and confidence will improve noticeably month by month, and we will be there to support you every step of the way.
